Saskie & Co.’s Nocturnal Scarf is the brand-new companion to the Nocturnal Jumper, and the perfect way to wrap yourself in a little spooky season. A moon-phase cat parades the full length of this long, cozy scarf, worked in the round in one seamless piece, so there are no floats to fuss over on the back and no seams to finish. It’s a great way to try colorwork without committing to a whole sweater.
Like the Jumper, it comes from a sweet place: saskie&co designed the Nocturnal collection around a patient, silly rescue tuxedo cat they’re a godparent to. As a shop named after a cat ourselves, we couldn’t resist. Knit it on its own, or pair it with the Jumper for a matching set.
This bundle contains the yarn you’ll need: Blue Sky Woolstok Worsted in Drift Wood (4), Rusted Roof (2), and Cast Iron (2). The pattern is written for DK, and we’ve kitted it in Woolstok Worsted for a plusher, warmer scarf, so expect it to come out a little longer and wider than the pattern’s 91 × 4¾ inches.
