Merilin

Isager has been designing timeless yarns from a small farm in Tversted, on Denmark's northern coast, since 1977, and Merilin carries that quiet Scandinavian sensibility straight through. It's a 3-ply blend of 80% wool and 20% linen — the linen sits smoothly over the wool rather than absorbing dye the same way, which gives the yarn a subtle, natural melé effect no single-fiber yarn can replicate. That 3-ply structure also makes it a strong pick for textured stitch patterns, and it's soft enough that people who normally react to wool can often wear it comfortably.
