Weepaca

Weepaca is the yarn that talks a big game about being practical and then completely oversells itself on softness. It's a 50/50 blend of superwash merino and baby alpaca — the merino does the heavy lifting on structure and washability, the alpaca sneaks in the warmth and a soft halo, and together they land somewhere between "durable enough for real life" and "too nice for real life." Sits at a heavy DK to light worsted, so it splits the difference for anyone who needs a little flexibility in gauge.
It's also machine washable, which matters more than it sounds like it should when the project in question is a baby sweater or a kid's hat that's going to get worn hard and washed often.
