Jensen

Jensen is one of Isager's original foundation yarns, named for the designer Åse Lund Jensen who developed it back in the 1960s to give sweaters real structure without the heavy weight most sweater yarns carry. It's a firm, evenly spun 3-ply, 100% wool, spun and dyed at Skive Garn in Denmark, and that firmness is exactly what makes cables, textured stitches, and stranded colorwork look so clean and defined. Warm but breathable, durable enough for outerwear, and it even felts beautifully if that's the project. The palette leans into naturally-inspired undyed neutrals, earthy tones, and heathers — genuinely timeless rather than trend-driven.
